Good News for Hillary: More New York Endorsements!!

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/04/13/1514778/-Hillary-Nets-More-New-York-Endorsements

In the past 24 hours, the Clinton campaign has announced some additional New York endorsements.

[T] the Local 3 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers backed the former two-term U.S. senator from New York over her rival, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders. The group represents more than 27,000 workers, according to its website.

In addition, Jewish New York City council members overwhelmingly endorsed former Secretary Clinton yesterday:

Twelve members of the New York City Council’s 14-member Jewish caucus have endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.

The City Council members signed a joint statement on Tuesday, Jewish Insider reported.

The signers are David Greenfield, Stephen Levin, Alan Maisel and Mark Treyger from Brooklyn; Barry Grodenchick, Daniel Garodnick, Karen Koslowitz and Rory Lancman from Queens; Ben Kallos, Helen Rosenthal and Mark Levine from Manhattan, and Andrew Cohen from The Bronx.

She also recently received an endorsement from the Otsego County Democratic Committee, which represents 49 election districts in upstate NY:

[T]he weighted tally was 2,010 to endorse Clinton, 1,320 for Sanders.

“We are exceptionally fortunate that we have the choice of these two extraordinary candidates,” said Democratic Committee Chair Richard Abbate in a statement.

Abbate, said that he hopes this endorsement will encourage Otsego County Democrats to vote for Clinton in the New York state primary Tuesday.

“We are confident that she will be an amazing president and has the experience to move our country forward,” Abbate said.

And of course, she received an endorsement from the NY Daily News Editorial Board yesterday evening. The tabloid publication has an estimated print circulation of 300,000, and its Website gets 7.4 million unique NY viewers per month. (She was already endorsed by the New York Times on January 31, 2016.)

Hillary also released a new ad for Maryland, featuring the Movement of Mothers, who will be in New York this week campaigning for her.

They are from people who studied the issues and her platform and made informed decisions about who would make the best President.
I'll be happy when the debate is over, Bernie is out of town and Hillary can have the spot light to herself.
