"In a speech to supporters, in which she declared that "victory is in sight" in the race for the nomination, Clinton reached out to those who had backed Sanders, saying, "I believe there is much more that unites us than divides us."

She has gotten so little of it from so many people. She has been very respectful of Sanders and his supporters, and I think it is the right tone in attitude to adopt right now for all of us. I will try...really hard Starting today.

Mahalo for this Cha! You are awesome!

Like most suffragists they were not famous but I think of them often as Hillary and all women move forward.

I posted about two of my female ancestors to remind all of us to think about what/who is in our DNA. I have done a lot of genealogy work with a focus on the women. It is a little more difficult because of the name change thing but worth it.

Let me put it another way... I am an early second wave activist feminist and knew I didn't self-generate. Turns out I am from a long line of kick-ass women from both sides of the family.

On their birthdays I send out emails to my extended family members with a little bio info. My brother asked me a few years ago why I didn't send announcements about the men in the family. I laughed and told him they always get most of the attention and if he wants that info sent out he can do it himself. Meanwhile, remember the women.
