Hillary Clinton

Sixteen articles on Prince today on Salon. That is good news for Hillary and Dems because there are only 3 Hillary-hating, 1 anti-Obama and 1 anti-Democratic Party articles up today.
I bet they try to make up for it tomorrow.

(1,359 posts)Their stable of white male authors all repeatedly posting their derangement just got to be too much. And their comment section is as bad as GDP, with their moderators banning anyone who tries to support Clinton while allowing the most hateful stuff from BernieBros to stay.
Fuck Salon.

(3,284 posts)BTW, what is it with 2016? It's the year of the Entitled White Male Who Throws Temper Tantrums. Can we get a re-do?

(1,359 posts)It's not just conservative white men who are set to lose their privilege. It's taking the progressive white men down at the same time, and they're reacting just as poorly as their right-wing counterparts. It's also why they can flirt with a Trump or Cruz presidency, because they wouldn't suffer the same way every other Democrat would under a GOP White House and Congress.
The way Bernie's "progressive" supporters have looked down on women and minorities and gays this election is sickening. As in, "No, I DO NOT want these people as my allies, no matter how many issues we otherwise might agree on."
And I continue to maintain that female and minority Bernie supporters who allow such posts to happen without standing up to them ARE contributing to the problem. Because the white dudes see their female and minority allies remaining silent, and think that makes it OK to insult some of the biggest demographics that support the modern Democratic Party.
Ever time I see "the sexist card" or the like, I am confounded. It makes no sense to me at all.
It drives me crazy how many "progressive" white males don't see a parallel between what they're doing and what Trump supporters do. Like you said, this goes for many of the "progressive" white women, too. They say they're against sexism but then refuse to acknowledge it when they do it themselves, or when they see it done to HRC. It's pretty infuriating.
