If new battleground-state polls are correct...

it looks like the shameless Hillary-bashing from the press has had some desired effect. These attacks on possibly the most qualified Presidential candidate ever, and the first woman to have a real chance to be President, are, I think, unprecedented.

What voters know about Hillary comes through the filter of the press, and the press tells them she is unlikeable and untrustworthy. How? Why?

I am enraged by the preening political press puffed up by their power over the democratic process. I think, with effort and voter turnout, Hillary and her supporters can overcome this barrier and send this remarkable woman to the White House.

there is a great deal at stake.

Remember, they want to destroy what is left of the middle class so we can compete with China and so on.

They really deeply sincerely hate you if you work for a living

So its simply the media bashing her by saying "Hillary losing" in the headline. That's prob BC Obama's numbers are middling right now. His approvals will decide this election. Also, she's not losing by much, and that's before the voters are reintroduced to the Bushes. Obama needs to shore his numbers up. As consolation tho, Reagan actually had similar numbers in 1987. Dukakis got rocked in 1988. It's also not exactly a Pew, Gallup, or USA Today poll.

She's also still winning the popular vote (Trump or no Trump) which has a 92% correlation with the winner. W. is likely to be the only president of the lifetimes of anyone who has ever posted here to win* with fewer votes.

Ask Governor Foley how his first six months went.

*4 other polls put Hillary in front of every thug. Of the current swing states, Iowa Colorado and Virginia, she has the biggest leads in Virginia.

to believe that we WILL send her to the WH. But with those bernie fans out there in other du forums doing opposition RW against her, I do get discouraged.

It's too early to get Cought up in polls.

...rather than the news reports about the poll. You will see that Hillary's 'trust-o-meter' numbers are about the same as Jeb Bush's The 'real' leading candidate of the Repubs. You also will see that they never put the Donald, the actual leader of the Repubs numberswise right now, up against Clinton, why was that? Possibly because his negative 'trust-o-meter' numbers are higher than anyone's and they wanted to lead with a headline that says Clinton doesn't win against repubs and has problems. When they leave a candidate that is leading the Republican party in most polls (even if he is a crackpot, hell all of them are crackpots) out of the questions when it comes to head to head matchups, you have to question the veracity of the poll.

It's a long way out right now. Lot's of things can happen next week, not to mention next year.

They're not really a good reflection of anything until the candidates are out of the primaries and running their ground game. She's got a great campaign and has hired the best of the best, many coming from Obama's brilliant 2008 team,we're going to win this one.
