Poll finds huge lead for Clinton in Iowa

HILLARY GROUP POST

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has long been rumored to be planning another run for President. A new poll out Thursday shows she would find plenty of support in Iowa. Quinnipiac University surveyed likely Iowa Democratic Caucus-goers and found 61% already say Clinton would be their first choice in January. Far back in 2nd place was Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. Vice President Joe Biden earned just 7% support. Clinton also enjoys intense support no matter who Democrats first choice would be. 90% said they had a favorable opinion of the former First Lady. 77% felt the same way about Vice President Biden, Sen. Warren earned 60%.

It also appears Democrats in Iowa are not concerned about the legacy vote. Just 5% of those surveyed said they were less likely to vote for Clinton because her husband already served two terms as President. "Democrats strongly favor the idea of a candidate with Senate or congressional experience while Republicans prefer one with administrative experience such as Governor." Said Quinnipiac University Poll Assistant Director Peter A. Brown. Analysts say the numbers show conclusively that the race, as it stands today, is Clinton's to lose.

When I heard Joe Scarborough saying out of the candidates possible she has the most foreign experience and with current events there is lots of need to have someone with lots of experience.
