I have never in my life seen such ugliness directed to good people like John Lewis, Jane Goodall, Ellen Degenres, Howard Dean and now Planned Parenthood. I guess an angry candidate generates angry supporters. Weird how Trump supporters do the same thing.

Several commenters said they’re pulling donations from Planned Parenthood and giving them to Bernie Sanders because universal healthcare (which he is promoting) would remove the need for PP’s services.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Universal health care coverage, of course, will not be paying for abortions in states that have legislatively shut down abortion providers. Maybe it will include airfare vouchers as well!

... the very same thing as this. At times the anger seems to boil over into a blind rage. It's astounding. What purpose does it serve for people to behave that way? (I guess anonymity makes it easier for people to be rude and ugly, and to behave more aggressively online than they would in real life, and when face to face with someone.)

There are elements in the Left that are as destructive as elements on
the Right.

I don't even argue for moderation, I'm just begging for an end to
extremes. Yeah, I want a lot of the things the Left is aiming for,
but I know that getting to a destination requires moving towards
it, not simply arriving there. I also believe compromise is better
than nothing. Right/Left extremes don't seem to feel that way.

The creepy, dark corners of either party are filled with hatred, fear and bitterness. That's what is getting them all excited. I don't think they will be successful. Neither does anyone else.
