Bernie made HRC a better candidate, and for that he deserves some credit. But his supporters are doing him a tremendous disservice.

in my community, state, nation, since 1972... in all that time and through all those elections I have never been ridiculed, called names, criticized, disparaged, etc... for the person and/or cause that I was voting for... until this year

I have never in all my years seen anything like the nonsense and vitriol going around right now, here on DU as well as many other sites and face to face with people...

17. I have been here for a long time.

I'm seeing trash talk that is the ugliest pice of shit that anyone could write about a fellow Democrat, and be able to post on this board. I'm embarrassed to say that I thought some of the people were once people I admired because of their posting. Following on the *selection when we had to figure out how to survive through the Bush years, but this is ugly. When you call them on it they act like it's a badge of honor to alert your post. We once had the ability to Tombstone trolls, and even if you had been here for a long time, if you behaved this badly it was bye, bye. I hope it comes back. If Bernie Sander's supports this kind of hate filled rhetoric and vitriol, then he should never have been able to run as a Democrat, and have the support of this party.
