Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forum4,940,095.
That is how many people have voted for Hillary thus far in this primary -- not counting those who voted in the Iowa, Nevada, or Maine caucuses. Four million, nine hundred forty thousand, ninety-five people, for Hillary Clinton.
Some voted because she is the most qualified candidate, some because they agree with her policies, some because something about Bernie turned them away from him, and some because they want the 227-year woman embargo in the Oval Office to end, and she is the best candidate they are likely to see.
4,940,095 people, turning out in the winter weather to vote in a primary for Hillary Clinton.
Think about that number.
4,940,095.
Now answer me this:
Why in god's name should we be worried about a few tens of thousands of "Bernie or Bust" folks?
Oh, and here's a bonus question:
Even without a specific movement or call to do so, is it any stretch to suppose that one percent of that 4,940,095 will stay home, or go PUMA, if Hillary is not the nominee?
I think not.

THIS IS IN SOLIDARITY.
The hide that silenced you (in the HILLARY GROUP) was just outrageous.
Flipping the flying finger to no-one in particular (which I'm doing mentally as I type) is now a hideable offence in a protected group.
But, a filthy and despicable OP, suggesting that Hillary should injure herself with a brick, is allowed to stand. Unconscionable. Ewwwwwwww!
They should be embarrassed, but I don't believe they have sufficient self-awareness to allow such a reaction.

(15,445 posts)It should make any civilized person, of whatever political persuasion, question the company they keep.
Criticism of the candidates on policy, on issues, on questions of character even, is to be expected.
But, advocacy of an anal assault? Utterly repugnant and a perfect reflection of the advocate.

(42,862 posts)... "you better be nice to me" folks with veiled threats to not vote for the nominee because their feelings have been hurt. Both types of individuals go immediately to my ignore list.
