This happened a few days ago, but I hadn't seen it until today. Who knew that sarcasm was now prohibited? Absolutely absurd!
I suspect, but I cannot be certain, that it wasn't the one-word reply that was the reason for the hidden post, but the one-word user name that prompted it. I could be wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.

(90,671 posts)... to alert on the co-ordinated gravedancing for giving the appearance of alert-stalking. I mentioned brave's single word.

(107,956 posts)You're allowed to blacklist 5 people from juries on any post you've been alerted on, 15 if you're a star member. Considering the stalking going on it wouldn't be a bad idea.

(2,074 posts)WTF? What made that hideworthy?!
And the glee with which they responded to the hiding, ugh.
So does this mean Bravenak cannot post? That sucks.

(42,862 posts)I could be wrong, but my instincts tell me that I'm correct. (Sad, isn't it?)
I wonder if Mr. Skinner is aware and watching.

(11,581 posts)Sanders right now (on MSNBC) is talking about how proud he is to be bringing new people into the political process because the system is broken/rigged, and doesn't represent average Americans. They have felt left out until he came along. Whoa!
So it is his supporters that Sanders is so proud of that are gleefully stomping on the freedoms of others.
I am so sorry Bravenak is being singled out, but there are plenty others who are finding posts hidden for silly reasons. It is quite clear that Sanders supporters on DU want to shut out Hillary supporters.

If she'd said, "Well bless your heart," would that have done it?
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)Would it be fair to characterize this as "stalking" or "bullying" behavior? (I don't know, I'm just asking a question that someone in a position of authority should probably be asking.)

(11,256 posts)At some point soon, the people throwing this collective tantrum will be gone. The question then becomes how many Clinton supporters who got fed up with all this crap want to come back.

(3,825 posts)I stand with you, as a woman, as a Democrat and as an unintimidated DU member. The thought police will not control what we think nor how we vote and we will win. Victory will be sweet. Peace ✌

(42,862 posts)Just peruse this group, or scroll UP within this thread, and you'll see what I mean.
I definitely take your point, however. By not engaging in tit-for-tat arguments and back-and-fort bickering, the likelihood of having a hidden post will decrease.

(297,188 posts)It's incredible Skinner lets this happen on his Democratic site.
Thank you for this Jackie.. I knew about brave but I hadn't seen your sweet thread for her until now.
Awesome virtual hug.
And, one for bravenak~
sheshe's out too
How many have you done of these?
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)... yes, it is incredible, and very disappointing. Stepping in and addressing the situation would not be "taking sides" but would instead be an attempt to control abuse and stalking and bullying. I hope that day comes sooner rather than later.

(1,132 posts)Acting as if they were clobbered when closer scrutiny reveals little or no contact. At some levels of basketball, this behaviour earns a Technical foul..in the NBA if detected after the game in a video, a fine can be levied on the offender.
The act is the same, however here it is like all the referees are partial to the same team. It doesn't seem like it should be difficult to examine all instances of poster suspensions for evidence of "flopping" and if present, penalizing the offenders and not the victim.
