Hillary Clinton

Not directly, no. Don't freak out, alert-stalkers.
I've been talking to friends in NC who are scared to death of Trump. They are all big Dems and are crossing over to vote in the GOP race so they can vote against Trump right now instead of waiting until the GE. They all like both Bernie and Hillary but are leaning toward Hillary. When I ask them to make sure Hillary gets their votes each one had a version of, "She's safe and will win the nomination anyway."
Argh!
Well, the good news is there doesn't seem to be some Bernie boom going on...if anything he benefits from the Dems who feel an ethical responsibility to vote against Trump in the GOP race.

(6,999 posts)And a little presumptuous. If you see them again tell them some nobody on the internet thinks it's chicken little pants wetting and they need to see task number 1 completed. Trump is a punk. Let Hillary deal with him while we have her back in the GE.
More Republicans will vote for her in the GE than Dems voting against Trump in the Primary.
Good luck in NC.

(50,557 posts)SEVEN PERCENT of all Democratic voters crossed party lines to vote against Trump in Michigan. Seven percent! If about two-thirds of those voters would have cast their ballots for Hillary instead of the not-Trump of the day, Bernie wouldn't have won there.

(10,845 posts)Let the GOP deal with their monsters. If Trump wins the nomination he will lose in a landslide regardless of the Dem nominee. He is toxic. Not so sure about Cruz or Rubio, though. Why would we want to help one of those guys get the nomination?
As was said above - too clever by half.
