Former Michigan Gov. Jim Blanchard is up to his eyeballs in the 'Hillary for President' effort and he has not lost his touch.

Asked for a one liner about GOP Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, without missing a beat he blurted out, "He reminds me a lot of Joe McCarthy, including his voice." Bow. Bam.

The ex-governor and former First Lady, Janet, are both working for Hillary Clinton including a hosting a gig at the home of Democrat Denise Illitch last December.

He was a great governor of my state. Good to hear he's still fighting the good fight.
