The "Bernie bros" hated Obama before they went after Clinton. From pretty much from day one some people started in trashing and bashing Obama. We had them here on DU. They also hated the whole democratic party, wanted to purge everyone anyone who didn't meet their "purity" standards from the party and they wanted to take over the party and change it into their own image of what it should be.

These same people started the "anyone but Hillary" meme, took over the control of Bernie Sanders groups, spewed all the old right wing talking points to take her down, and of course started in dividing Democrats with the old, "both parties are the same so why vote", along with "if we can't have Bernie as president, then we won't vote for Hillary threat.

If you ask me the Bernie bros are not trying to get any Democrat elected, instead they are trying to destroy the party any way they can.
