The truth is still coming out about BS whether they can handle it or not. At first they started hiding all the threads that were vetting sanders.. now with Skinner proclaiming "amnesty" there are more Hillary supporters who have come back to DU.. who are posting again and on JURIES. But, they're still Censoring and the furthest thing from "Democratic" that you can get.

15. The fact that they can come in to a protected group

and censor threads feels incredibly invasive. Especially in the current climate because there are vastly more Sander's supporters who have lost a compass for fairness and reason. I wish there were rules that allowed a group member majority vote to determine jury outcomes for private groups. Otherwise, it is just mob rule. I'm so sorry this is happening and so proud sheshe2 and everyone else is keeping it going!

17. Yes, "mob rule" when a post is shutdown that isn't against the TOS.. very important difference..

they like to point out how many hides Hill supporters have.. but they weren't against TOS. It was that mob rule again. So they are just outing themselves as the censoring kings.

4. The fact that the very thread discussing disturbing cult like behaviors

exhibited by some Sander's supporters was stalked, swarmed and censored in a private group reinforces the reason the thread was needed in the first place.

It isn't enough for them to promote their candidate and points of view. They have to squelch all freedom of speech if it questions their leader or their own questionable behavior. Ironic, cult like and totalitarian. It is also a characteristic of privilege. At the core, it is about power. Having power, coupled with the fear of losing it, emboldens those who feel most threatened.

Whether it is #BLM, Occupy Wall Street or the Democratic Primary, some participants seem to be more equal than others and have an overarching sense of entitlement. A sense of that allows them to think it is alright to invade the boundaries of, speak for, lecture, interrogate and shut down dissent from historically marginalized people. What causes this? The privilege to assume that the ideas, words and even spaces of others will serve as extensions of the entitled group's narrative and desires. Yes, we are and nothing they do is going to change that. Just like alll those people who go to the polls and vote for Hillary without all the attention seeking drama, we are not going away. Every time they pull a stunt like this it serves as a reminder of just how afraid they are to lose what they have enjoyed at the expense of others. The push back against civil rights gains we have made over the years is right there in our faces and that is because we are actually the ones who have momentum. We are going to the White House ...again.
