Maduro retires Venezuelan ambassador from Peru for consultation

because Peru's foreign minister Roncagliolo said that Peru, currently presiding UNASUR, "calls for dialog in Venezuela and suggests that UNASUR evaluates the matter". He repeated that following the 14 April's election, UNASUR asked for "tolerance, dialog and mutual respect between the opposition and the Venezuelan government".

Maduro answered the peruvian government "not to interfere en Venezuelan internal affairs" and said that he "didn't accept the lack of respect for Venezuela's democratic process". Maduro finally declared "You just made the mistake of your life Roncagliolo, Venezuela deserves respect"

and mutual respect. The only dialog the opposition seems to want is to cast doubt on the election. Well, the United States and the opposition, seems like.

I have never understood the "I'm not mad at you so I'm not going to talk to you" thing. It sounds very grade-school to me.

Of course that can be very like grade school.

But here I simply see no reason for Maduro to be civil to people who won't accept his win. Why should he? To be nice?

I wasn't complaining about the underlying issue here, just using it as a prompt to bring up my longstanding dislike of this behavior (done by all countries).
