Venezuelan electoral system improved significantly: official

CARACAS, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Venezuela's automated electoral system has been improved significantly, as votes can be easily audited and verified, the nation's top election official said Tuesday.
In an interview aired on state-owned Venezolana de Television (VTV), Venezuela's National Electoral Council (NEC) President Tibisay Lucena said: "In Venezuela we defeated electoral fraud ... with an automated system and with technology."
Some of the most significant recent changes to the electoral system, she said, include upgrading the Voter Registry to include some 20 percent of Venezuelans over 18 who were not included, and improving the allocation of the voting centers.
"The implementation of a technological platform has been a great step for the NEC. We have been through an enormous transformation in 14 years and in this period we have proven the solidity of the electoral system," said Lucena.

From another point of view, undoubtedly all of those clowns were US-backed during the time they were destroying their countries, throwing open the doors to the massive poor populations to be used as cheap labor pools, inviting corporations to plunder the national resources, making sweetheart deals for tax purposes, all done with the assurance that if things got too wild and crazy they could think up a reason to send down some "advisors," etc., and get all scary with black-ops, plots, arrangements and all the crappola already used over and over again from one country to the next throughout the hemisphere.
So Florida is controlled by right-wing extremists of South Florida who hold the power over the 29 essential Presidential electors, and the state of course attracts every Presidential candidate every 4 years, to bow and scrape, and blow kisses to them, along with promises and sweet nuthin's. These right-wing oligarchy tyrants, with the unelected military/industrial US government control Latin American foreign relations.
