http://www.buzzfeed.com/passantino/cnn-journalists-robbed-at-gunpoint-in-venezuelaA CNN crew covering anti-government demonstrations in Venezuela was robbed at gunpoint in Caracas Tuesday, the network said.
A group of about 20 men on motorcycles was riding toward a crowd of protesters when they apparently noticed the television crew and brandished their guns.
The armed men demanded the journalists hand over their gear, including a camera and broadcasting equipment. The crew was not harmed during the incident, a CNN spokesperson told BuzzFeed.

(2,035 posts)All of it points towards armed groups cooperating with military to repress protesters. There's yet to be any proof that the opposition is armed. Next thing you're gonna say is that the police and military aren't repressing people in Ukraine. These are the signs of an authoritarian regime, but you don't want to recognize it because you're too fucking blinded by ideology.

Do you REALLY think the American News Media isn't steered by anti-proletariat garbage? Keep you blinders on, Hoss... Oh, and welcome to DU, Marksman! Crosshairs and all...

(2,035 posts)...such as opposition carrying weapons and killing innocents. There's plenty of videos and photos that have been recently uploaded in this forum to support my claims, videos recorded from people that they published all over the web, not just in CNN. I only ask that you do the same so that we can be on even grounds, just out of respect. But you seem to only believe the propaganda machine of a failing government which is more and more finding itself in a corner, and apparently that gives you enough evidence to support your claims. That's not how a debate works. And now here you are turning this thing around and trying to hide behind humor, claiming that there's no more to discuss, because obviously you have no evidence to support all your BS.
