Beth picked up her marbles and apparently skedaddled off to a more convivial Chavista echo chamber.

Ever play follow the leader?

bigger and where people are far more aware of the Imperialism that has destroyed so many nations. It's quite amazing how when you are out in the big world, how small DU becomes. It's a different era and EFerrari is doing what millions of people around the world are doing, joining the people everywhere who see the truth about our policies re Latin America and because of that vast and growing awareness, it is getting harder for Western Imperialists to continue their interference of other nations with the same old pretext no one believes anymore.

It's getting harder and harder to 'control the message' don't you agree?

first of all, view Chavez as one of the best leaders Ven ever had, and again, most KNOW what is and has always caused the problems in, not just Ven but most of Latin America.

And because they do, they want the Imperial West out of the business of other nations because everywhere they go they cause suffering and destruction, and all for their own corrupt, personal gain.

Another example right now is happening re the people fleeing our Imperial wars in the ME and Africa.

And the very people who lied about WHY they were intervening, you know, humanitarian bombs etc, are now REFUSING to help those human beings they claimed it was all about.

All empires fall in the end.

Ven is a victim of the same old tactics so well known around the world and especially by those who have been victimized by them.

“They suggested I’d be friendly with Middle East terrorist organizations, and even ]tried to link me to a dead communist dictator,” Sanders said in a fundraising email that criticized a super political action committee called Correct the Record, which supports Hillary Clinton.

We should help him discover what is really going on in Venezuela.

anyone on everything.

Not sure why you think that I form opinions based on a politician I support on most issues. Most of us are capable of thinking for ourselves and look at the overall views of those we support. Bernie wins hands down on most issues, on this we disagree.

Its not too hard to look at the chavista government in Venezuela and determine its not a model to replicate, anywhere.

Chavez was a controversial leader on the world stage, and his bombastic style as well as his leftist ideology attracted admirers and enemies alike. Across Latin American and Caribbean countries surveyed, Chavez's government received a median 20% approval rating in 2012. Haiti, a recipient of Venezuelan oil, registered the highest approval, at 58%, while Brazil had the lowest approval of 8%.

You may want to correct your post to state, "The majority of people, in Haiti, view Chavez as one of the best leaders Ven ever had..."

If it wasn't for Venezuela's petrodollars, the Chavista regime wouldn't have been able to buy so many allies. And now, curiously, they all seem to be supporting Guyana instead of Venezuela in the territorial dispute. I suppose this means that because of the terrible economic conditions that Chavismo has caused in Venezuela, combined with the plummeting price of oil, they can't really be buying support nowadays from their neighbors.
