Argentine ruling party extends presidential vote lead - poll
BUENOS AIRES
Daniel Scioli, the ruling party's candidate for Argentina's presidential election, has extended his lead but cannot yet be sure of an outright win in this month's first round, a poll showed on Sunday.
Scioli, from President Cristina Fernandez's Front for Victory party, was drawing 38.6 percent support among those who have decided their vote, according to a Management & Fit poll.
That was up from 36.7 percent a month ago, and takes him closer to the 40 percent threshold he needs for an outright win on Oct. 25.
Scioli has made new investment a cornerstone of his campaign platform, but has given few clues on the changes he would make to state controls on the economy imposed by Fernandez, often defending her policies instead.

But, he doesn't give any "clues" to Rotters' billionaire owners and other 1%-er investors and banksters as to how they can try to manipulate him to their advantage.
!@#$-ers!

(5,902 posts)You may have noticed that when the big news sites cite Argentine polls, it's almost always Management & Fit. There's a reason for this, of course: M&F is a pollster known for its anti-Kirchner bias and its cozy relationship with both the local right-wing media (particularly Clarín - the Fox News of Argentina) and the U.S. Embassy.
At the height of the 2011 presidential race, for example, M&F put Cristina Kirchner's Front for Victory at 33% when all other pollsters were putting them at 45-53%. And sure enough, M&F's 33% was, despite being the clear outlier, loudly touted not only by the big local media outlets (all right-wing) but also by most U.S. and British news sites.
Mrs. Kirchner, as almost all other pollsters had predicted, won with 54% of the vote. And management, had a fit.
In all fairness, M&F has improved quite a bit since their 2011 fiasco; their polls this time around are consistent with the others.

(24,010 posts)It looks like the 1% may need some 'TRADE SECRET' voting machines in Argentina.
