Kirchnerist Leader, Mercosur Lawmaker Detained in Argentina

The right-wing government of the province of Jujuy is wrongfully accusing her of instigating public disturbances and other illegal acts.
A Kirchnerist leader and member of the Mercosur Parliament has been detained at her home by the right-wing government of the province of Juyjuy wrongfully accusing her of “instigating to commit crime and public disturbances.”
“This is like a dictatorship,” said the international lawmaker Milagro Sala. “At this very moment, the police of Gerardo Morales (right-wing pro-Mauricio Macri governor of Jujuy) is arresting me.”
Sala has been protesting for about 32 days against Morales, who she says was imposed as governor against the will of the people.
Sala, who is supported by a large group of locals, is also accusing Morales of governing for the higher-spheres of society in detriment of the people as he has ended many social programs.
