Evo Morales Wants Reciprocity in Elimination of Visas For US Citizens
La Paz, Jun 30 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian President Evo Morales stated Friday that he is ready to eliminate the visas for US citizens, but always if the US are reciprocal with Bolivian citizens at the same time.
'I got the news this morning, that the US Embassy is asking the Plurinational Government of Bolivia to eliminate the visas for US citizens to enter Bolivian national territory. We don't have any problem on that, always if they are reciprocal every time,' said Evo Morales during the opening of the Plurinational Students Sport Games in Pando Friday.
According to Morales, his country is advocating for a universal citizenship, so it is important that the Heads of State and Government from western countries, understand that we all have the same rights.
'We eliminate the visa for the North Americans, but they also have to eliminate the visa requirements for the Bolivians', he stated.
