Mass Demonstration in Cochabamba to Support Evo Morales' Nomination



La Paz, Oct 26 (Prensa Latina) Thousands of people gathered today at the Plaza 14 de Septiembre in Cochabamba to support Bolivian President Evo Morales'' administration and his nomination for the 2019 elections.

Members of social and trade union organizations from 47 municipalities of that department and the six federations of the Tropico de Cochabamba, as well as transportation workers and cultural movements, amid others, demonstrated from various sites of the city gathering at the Plaza to reiterate their support to the process of change.

During his speech at the demonstration, Grover Garcia, president of the Departmental Coordinator for Change, highlighted Bolivia's achievements in the 11 years of President Morales' administration.

He said that Bolivia has the highest growth rate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in South America, which is recognized by international organizations.
