Dissent is now officially illegal in Venezuela. Because dissent is hate. The internet is hate

Translated from Spanish

What is contained in the law against "hatred and intolerance" that the ANC discusses?
The document states in one of its articles that the web portals that the State considers to be committed to hate can be blocked

"The fraudulent national constituent assembly (ANC), through its president Delcy Rodríguez and its first vice president Elvis Amoroso, has announced that the so-called "law against hate, intolerance and violence" that they are discussing will allow the State's organs to intervene in the activity of the media and social networks, if they consider that this rule is violated.

El Nacional Web had access to the document that has been the subject of debate in the protocolary chamber two weeks ago, when President Nicolás Maduro proposed it to the plenary.

The imposition of regulations has been criticized by members of the opposition and other public entities, especially by the media; because it would be left to the interpretation of the ANC and its subordinate powers to whom to accuse for the "hate crimes"."

So much for the ANC's mandate to re-write the Constitution and submit it for voters approval.

The last vestiges of liberty and freedom are removed in Venezuela.

Establishes sentences of up to 20 years in prison for anyone who promotes or commits "hateful" crimes
Shuts down media outlets who promote "hate"
Makes illegal political parties deemed "hateful"
Establishes punishment and sanctions against outlets that spread "hateful" messages
Makes it obligatory for the media and social networks to remove improper messages (goodbye, Twitter, etc.)
Prison sentences of eight to ten years against policemen or military officers who refuse to prosecute "hate" crimes.

And what is hateful to the Chavistas? No need for any objective definition! To quote United States Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart (1964) regarding obscenity, "I know it when I see it". And if it doesn't serve Chavismo, they will know it, even if you don't.

Say something unflattering about Delcy, Diosdado, Aristibulo, Elias, Vlad, or Nicky on the street? Jail.
Untoward comment on a radio/TV call in show? Lose your license to operate, station manager goes to jail.
Wear the wrong T-shirt? Jail.
Write something (anything) deemed "counter revolutionary" on Twitter or Facebook? Jail.

Let us not forget, that the Bolivarian Revolution is on the line. Maduro has made no bones about using state resources for blocking "social media" and the internet so that the Revolution rolls on.

Step up, Chavistas. Please defend this.
