Maduro warns VZ church officials to not "politicize" during holy week. Churches "militarized"

The most well-known and well-known as The Cathedral, San Francisco, Altagracia and Santa Capilla have the presence of the GNB, the People's Guard and the PNB since last Sunday. They did the same in the Altagracia parish, where they bet on 22 soldiers who closely watch the preparations.

Maduro isn't shy about arresting the clergy. He made great hay about arresting and jailing various Bishops during Christmas when they spoke out about Chavista injustices. Can't have that sort of talk muddying up the propaganda coming out of Miraflores!
