Hospital workers threaten to strike. Chavismo threatens them with prison.
Workers of the Hospital Pérez Carreño rejected "threats" from the Minister of Health
ND / June 14 2018.- Workers at the Pérez Carreño Hospital in Caracas protested on Wednesday to demand labor claims, and rejected "threats" from the Health Minister,
who warned to imprison the union members who participate in these protests.
During the demonstration, those who participated reported that they have received
between 600 and 2,500 bolivars in a fortnight, an amount that does not cover basic needs in a country that is experiencing hyperinflation.
The president of the Internal Medical Society and Residents of the Vargas Hospital in Caracas, Carlos Prósperi, said that this "sad reality" is experienced by all hospitals in the country, which motivated him to join this demonstration.
Health workers feel insecure. It is not enough for him not to provide us with resources or food for patients, but now he leaves us at the mercy of insecurity," he told theNTN24.

Woot! 2500 Bolivars for two weeks wages? Lets see... with Chavismos managment of the economy, currently ONE US DOLLAR will get you nearly THREE MILLION VENEZUELAN BOLIVARS. So, two weeks wages are less than 1/10 cent.
