Call in Bolivia for the return of the Cuban medical brigade
La Paz, Nov 24 (Prensa Latina) The Bolivian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba today called for the return of the island's medical brigade, which left the country as a result of the 2019 coup.
The solidarity group recalls in a statement that the South American nation is going through a health crisis in relation to Covid-19, largely the result of the de facto government of Jeanine Áñez, which it describes as 'terrible.'
Faced with this scenario, they point out in the document that the return of the Cuban medical brigade is of national interest, 'which during the 13 years of presence in the Plurinational State always supported and collaborated with the most vulnerable population with limited resources.'
The movement also calls for the return to Cuba of all its belongings in Bolivian territory, especially local ones such as the so-called Collaborator's Clinic, intervened by the coup government in violation of international laws.
