Cuban foreign minister affirms that undersea cable from U.S. would be beneficial for both countries

From his Twitter account, Bruno Rodríguez pointed out that the completion of an undersea connection between Florida and the island would be a positive step and would expand Cubans’ access to the Internet.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez affirmed this Thursday that the realization of an undersea cable between Florida (USA) and the island would be a positive step and would expand Internet access for Cubans.

Rodríguez Parrilla’s statements come after the U.S. Department of Justice recommended to the Federal Communications Commission on November 30 that a permit for the installation of a first underwater cable that would connect U.S. territory with the island be denied.

Shortly after, the Cuban Telecommunications Company S.A. announced that it had signed a contract with the French telecommunications company Orange S.A. to deploy an undersea fiber optic cable that will connect the island of Martinique and Cienfuegos.

The signing of the agreement a week later marked the beginning of the technological operation for which the cable ship Pierre de Fermat was already on the island, which, according to the information available, had arrived in Cienfuegos from Fort de France, Martinique.

They've made that claim for ages while concealing the reason WHY Cuba has been going without so many things for so long. People who've paid attention to them have heard every charge in the world they use to build the picture the government doesn't want the people to know what's going on outside Cuba!

So many decades they claimed Cuba wouldn't let US Americans into the country until US Democratic Presidents would open they way for US Americans to start visiting (although the "exiles" have always gone in and out of Cuba, a well-hidden secret) , only to have their rules were reversed when the next Republican President took office.

US citizens could learn all about everything if they would start paying attention and take the time to look for the answers. They apparently love the propaganda more than they care about the truth!

Assuming that there isn’t one (or more) there already.

I’ve given up on Florida; it’s going to remain bright ruby red from now until the sea levels there rise above ten feet and the aquifers turn as salty as ocean water. If it ain’t the ‘Murrican MAGA Magoos, it’ll be the descendants of the Cuban and Venezuelan expats who’ll be dictating state policy.
