Economy
Related: About this forumI'm looking to improve my understanding about economic issues.
Any suggestions for books and/or magazines that would be helpful?
Thanks!

(1,356 posts)I actually took a few ECON courses back in college - so it's been awhile (1987!) since I did any serious reading on the subject.
I have a few books at home (including The Wordly Philosophers, several J.K Galbraith, Reich, and Krugman books) but since I never took a Statistics course, I'm not that well versed in the details of Micro/Macro.
But I'm hoping that I can find material that will help me self-study.
Thanks again for your response.

(1,356 posts)It's funny that you should mention the Economist, I actually received an offer in the mail the other day for a subscription (51 weeks for $51)...I wasn't sure if I was going to take advantage of it or not, but now I'm thinking that it might be a good idea.
