That's a book that I've seen many times and was tempted to pick up....I'll be sure to do so now.

Thanks again -

I actually took a few ECON courses back in college - so it's been awhile (1987!) since I did any serious reading on the subject.

I have a few books at home (including The Wordly Philosophers, several J.K Galbraith, Reich, and Krugman books) but since I never took a Statistics course, I'm not that well versed in the details of Micro/Macro.

But I'm hoping that I can find material that will help me self-study.

Thanks again for your response.

It's funny that you should mention the Economist, I actually received an offer in the mail the other day for a subscription (51 weeks for $51)...I wasn't sure if I was going to take advantage of it or not, but now I'm thinking that it might be a good idea.

Thanks again!

From time to time I've read his blog, but since I'm trying to improve my ECON IQ, I think I should make this part of my everyday reading.

Thanks again!

A basic understanding first and then you could delve into the opinions....
