Love Matt Taibbi, and he certainly doesn't disappoint.

I thought I knew most of this story (and he certainly did leave out a lot of the more egregious examples - which were not needed to drive the point home), but he filled in many, many gaps that I was unaware of.

Thanks for posting this.

Love ya Matt. Keep up the good work.

Have you ever worked for BAC, Countrywide, MBNA, Merrill, US Trust, US Fleet, or any of the other BAC families of companies?

I don't care about Bank of America.

Again, no elected Dem gives a damn about BoA since they repaid their loans and are under supervision. Somehow blogs make it an issue though.

Some of us "know nothings" that appreciate Taibbi's information actually WERE employed by the company in question and know he knows what he is talking about, but do keep on lecturing us otherwise.

I posted a link to American Prospect:

Matt Taibbi has done it again -- written a nightmare of a story for Rolling Stone on Obama's economic sell-out of his campaign. The piece is a factual mess, a conspiracy theorist's dream, doesn't even indict Obama for his real failures (which I'll discuss in a post later today) and of course invokes the cold hands of Bob Rubin like a bogeyman at every turn. This is pernicious for a lot of journalistic reasons, but politically it's bad for progressives beacuse conspiracy theories stand in the way of good policy analysis and good activism, replacing them with apathy and fear.

Lets go from there. Dispute a word of it.

learned then how valuable time is. Conflating the article posted with "Obama's Campaign" is just such an exercise in futility.

Take care.

Just wow. (Sorry I always wanted to say that). (And I know it is annoying to some) (it kinda rubs me the wrong way, too)
