Eppley Airfield employee in critical condition after accident

An Eppley Airfield employee remained in critical condition Thursday morning after falling from airport equipment earlier in the week.
Dennis Blackledge, 53, of Omaha, was riding on an airplane tug – a vehicle used to move airplanes – around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to Omaha police. The tug then ran over him, breaking several of his bones, police said.
Blackledge is being treated at Creighton University Medical Center.
