Man working on utility pole electrocuted

A man was electrocuted Tuesday in an accident in Dixon County, Neb.

Derrick Roth, 29, of South Sioux City was working on a highline utility pole at the Dixon County Feed Yard near Allen.

Sheriff's deputies were called just before noon on the report of an electrical accident, the Dixon County Sheriff's Office said.

Roth was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details were available. — Roseann Moring

My father was a lineman all his life until he fell from a pole and broke his back, that ended his career.
