No delay in justice, thanks to you!

Amazing! We did it!

Just last week we asked for your help to push the Department of Labor to do the right thing and not cave to pressure to delay a rule to finally guarantee home-care workers minimum wage and overtime. They heard you loud and clear!

The Department of Labor announced today that it will make good on its promise to roll out these critical protections by January. This is a major victory over corporate lobbyists, and we couldn't have done it without you!

I'm going to say it again – WE DID IT!

These new rules are an incredible victory for the 2.5 million home-care workers who have been unfairly excluded from job rights afforded to virtually all other Americans.

But we aren't done yet. We will continue to work with the Department of Labor, care providers, consumer advocates, lawmakers and committed activists like you to ensure that this policy is implemented and enforced effectively and fairly.

Will you help us see this fight through? Donate TODAY! Every dollar boosts our efforts to ensure home-care workers aren't cheated out of what they earn and can organize and collectively bargain to transform their lives: https://afl.salsalabs.com/o/4023/c/33/p/salsa/donation/common/public/?donate_page_KEY=7614&track=NAT_141003_don_DoL

We can't achieve these kinds of victories without you.

In solidarity,

Sarita

P.S. If you believe in victories and think we are on the right track, chip in now and make sure you are part of this transformational movement.
