Whether or not someone is required to send you a 1099, they may do so anyway.

But, more importantly, you are proposing that people commit a crime in order to donate the proceeds.

Tax fraud is tax fraud. The number of zeroes in the amount is just an accounting issue.

It’s not “okay when we do it”.
