Las Vegas as Tourists destination

There was something on TV saying that Las Vegas is now a popular destination for families and kids.

And I could not help wondering about its "footprint." A city in the desert with low water supply and hot days. Thus, it has to provide a lot of water and cool air. From where does it get all of this? And at what cost?

we less water per household than Phoenix, about 50% less. And the Mega Resorts do recycle their waste water and grey water. Ironic as it is,the largest single personal user of water is the fellow who owns the Sun Newspaper. And yes is gets a bit warm, but it is a dry heat. Most folks do the Casino thingee and then off to the Grand Canyon or the National Parks in Southern Utah. We do have a huge foot print and it is growing by leaps and bounds. But,most new homes and business's have water wise landscaping.

Help Vegas stay green,bring money.
