Related: About this forumDespite recent rains, California's drought is almost the same as this time last year.
On the positive side, exceptional drought dropped from 23.11% of the state last week to only 0.84% this week. They need another month of the same type of weather to clear out the drought.

Heard last night on local newscast that we are a tiny bit above normal for rainfall as well. Not saying we are out of the drought, but its NOTHING like last year when it literally rained 2 times all season.

(627 posts)And we've been getting a ton of rain. When I hear the experts say that the drought isn't over, it makes me feel like...holy shit...what do we have to do? Like maybe we're not trying hard enough, maybe the experts will be happy when we're all floating around on our beds! Laughing at myself knowing it is crazy/funny to think that.
