America, Prepare For A Century Of Drought

http://www.businessinsider.com/noaa-commerce-department-drought-report-2013-1

But concurrent with that report was the release of the Commerce Department's National Climate Assessment Development Advisory Committee National Climate Assessment survey.

One of the findings: we can expect up to a century of drought.

Here's a chart from the report projecting percent of the country in drought conditions in the coming years.

***SNIP

"These results suggest an increasing probability of drought over this century throughout most of the U.S.," the committee says. "Droughts have become more frequent and intense in some regions, and confidence is that these trends are projected to continue."

by Brian Fagan, about how past climate shaped the history of civilization around the world. In the past there have been droughts of 100 years, 300 years, and even 1,000 years in length. This is something modern civilization has never experienced, but such droughts meant the end of many past civilizations like the Hittites, and caused people to abandon vast areas of the world that used to be heavily populated. Droughts of 100 to 1,000 years have hit every corner of the planet at one time or another.

A hundred-year drought would not be at all unusual. In fact, on a time scale going back 50,000 years, hundred-year droughts are pretty common.

The greatest fraud in the past century is Climate Change. For a govt that can't tell the truth about unemployment, growth, inflation, or the time of day, this is about legitimate as East Anglia manipulated data and emails. But as they did, so will you, prevent the publication of the truth by opposing scientists. What a steaming pile of liberal crap this is.
