Illegal hunting on the rise in Afghanistan

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-26083855

The Asiatic cheetah, shown here in Iran, is one of those Afghan species considered to be at-risk

Illegal wildlife hunting is on the rise in Afghanistan - threatening several key species, campaigners say.

Officials admit it is happening in most provinces despite regulations banning hunting, including a decree by Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

There have been claims hunting is carried out by locals and by foreign nationals from Middle Eastern countries.

However, Afghan officials could not confirm this to BBC News.

This century will see the first mass-extinction ever brought about by one species!!
It's such a funny joke that we're a self-aware species who's built centuries of myths telling how we're "God's" favorite, "His" very image!!

We'll wipe out at least a third of the rest of the species before we've run our course.. maybe followed by nuclear meltdowns that take out almost everything we've left behind!!!

Woo go team!!!! Hu-Mans! Hu-Mans!!!
