Imagine That! Public "Outraged" At Tillerson Hypocrisy On Fracking Lawsuit

HOUSTON — Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson is at the center of a media firestorm over a lawsuit protesting a water tower near his $5 million horse ranch north of Dallas.

Tillerson, along with 11 other plaintiffs, have taken legal action to block the tower in Bartonville, saying that it violates zoning rules and neighborhood ordinances in place to protect the neighborhood’s comfort.

However, the lawsuit also notes that the tower could supply water for drilling operations — a point that has fueled public outrage and cries of hypocrisy.

EDIT

In a comment laced with sarcasm on MSNBC, Polis extended sympathy to Tillerson. “I sympathize with the poor CEO of Exxon Mobil, because the truth is nobody wants this to happen to them,” Polis told MSNBC “All In” host Chris Hayes. “This is happening to thousands of my constituents in Colorado, which is why four of the five cities in the district I represent have actually passed moratoriums or bans on fracking.”
