NBC Climate Change program

Sort of surprised to not see something on the NBC documentary report on climate change last night. I thot it was good. Lots and lots of information.

1. They were very, very cautious to lead into the facts slowly ...

those of us who are more aware of just how serious the problem is, or who have a more sophisticated understading of how scientists operate, may not have learned anything new ... but for those who haven't tried to follow what's going on, it was a good introduction. The program didn't really try to beat anyone over the head but just marched out a sufficient number of factual observations and explanations to get people thinking about climate change in a more informed and reasoned way. For commercial television, that's pretty good, and probably as good as we can reasonably expect.

Excellent visuals and some very engaging people explaining matters. I was glad to see Ann Curry get some serious air time.
