One of the most important talks I've seen.

It was delivered just yesterday in Vancouver by an ecological economist named Nate Hagens. It's a 90-minute tour of What's Going On In The World, with a focus on energy, the environment and human behaviour. As far as I can tell Nate hits every significant feature of our global predicament, and weaves it all together into a coherent, comprehensive and comprehensible story. I'm completely blown away - so little else needs to be said once you've seen this. It gets my absolute highest recommendation.
