At Extinction Radio we bear witness to the Sixth Great Extinction Event currently unfolding by welcoming and reflecting a diversity of viewpoints on how, when and why extinction is occurring. Using a mix of formats including interviews, presentations, poetry and music, segments offer wisdom and compassion on navigating the probable demise of humanity and non-human species as well as advice and encouragement on living fully and with full awareness until we can no longer go on.
In today's podcast, Ivey Cone will finish her interview with Derrick Jensen and Carolyn Baker will have a conversation with Charles Eisenstein. Peter Melton will have his weekly conversation with Paul Beckwith. We would like to introduce two new contributors to our listening audience, Kathy Harrison and Michael Adzema. Kathy will be talking about food preparation and storage and Michael Adzema will talk about coping. John Compost Cossham will talk about funerals. Guy McPherson will give his climate change update. Debba Kale Earnshaw will read Sam Carana's blog post and Susan Livingston will present the extreme weather. Of course we will feature our Poet Laureates of Doom and I will feature the music of Ant Hatcher.
Extinction Radio is broadcast on Activatemedia.org, Tuesdays at 9:00pm Boston time, 6:00pm Pacific Time and 2:00am UK Time.
