Looks like the ice extent reached its max a couple of days ago.

If so, it's the lowest max on record at 14.523 million sq km, this despite having a season that was 2 weeks longer than average.

Arctic sea ice appears to have reached its annual maximum extent on March 24, and is now the lowest maximum in the satellite record, replacing last year’s record low. This year’s maximum extent occurred later than average.
