2. I just caught this documentary on Netflix. It's the first time I've seen it.

I was very moved by it. I eat a lot of meat, but the movie has made me start to change my ways. There was one guy in the film who said something to the effect of, "You can't eat meat and be an environmentalist." Once you understand that livestock agriculture is the number one contributor to greenhouse gasses and a major reason for water shortage, I think that little quote makes a lot of sense.

I've been trying to lose weight and be more healthy. My wife and I went to the grocery for our weekly supply today and we bought no red meat and lots of fruit and veggies. We're not where we need to be yet, but it's a very good first step.
