From DxE: The Ridglan Farms dogs to be released.

We just got the best news. Over 1,000 dogs trapped inside Ridglan Farms are going to be released in the coming days and adopted into loving homes!
This is thanks to a coalition of rescue groups unaffiliated with the open rescue movement who were moved by the cruelty at Ridglan Farms and who negotiated to pay for the surrender of the dogs. While DxE does not buy animals, we are excited to see how many different groups have stepped up in their own way to save these dogs. And ultimately, the dogs will be free.
Thank you to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida, Center for Humane Economy, and other groups for negotiating this win for the beagles! Ridglan is being paid a fraction of the dogs' "market value" -- a deal Ridglan must feel compelled to accept now that their buyers have cut ties and the public has turned against them. We expect to learn more details about the agreement during a planned press conference tomorrow.

This is the end of Ridglan Farms. But this campaign has been just the beginning of "a new era" in animal rights history.
