North Korea quits Kaesong liaison office with South Korea

North Korea has withdrawn from the inter-Korean liaison office which was opened amid a warming of ties last year to facilitate talks with the South.

Seoul said it was contacted on Friday and informed that the North's staff would be leaving later in the day.

It has expressed its regret at the decision and is urging staff from the North to return as soon as possible.

The pullout follows a failed summit between the US and North Korean leaders in Hanoi last month.

NK comes closer, NK moves away, NK comes closer, NK moves away... They do this dance because they want to stay isolated.

Do you remember when NK declared war on SK and promised to wipe them out? In 2010 or so? That declaration of war was all over NK propaganda and then they simply didn't attack anyways.

They never intended to make nice with SK, it was just for show. Just like they have zero intentions of ever giving up their nuclear arsenal and capabilities. The fact that they are now rebuilding part of the missile launching spot they previously undid shows the utter farcical nature of everything they say. They are drumpf without the orange, same exact hate filled criminals, treasonous to their people, everything they say is a lie, assholes.
