Brazil is getting curiouser and curiouser: corrupt judge in Lula case
If you've followed Brazil's politics you know that the previous president, Lula, was railroaded out of office and into a jail cell by the right wing. Although the right wing was doing very well, they wanted more power so they schemed to get Lula out.
Now we learn that the judge in the case, Sérgio Moro, "gave prosecutors strategic advice, criticism and tips during the sprawling corruption investigation known as Operation Car Wash that jailed hundreds of executives, politicians and middlemen."

The replacement leader is Bolsonaro, an extreme right wing, anti-gay, fascist. In the past, the judge was portrayed as very honest. Now we have this--he's one of the most corrupt people on the planet. Everyone's "favorite" journalist, Glend Greenwald, is right in the middle of this. He was on today's Democracy Now! discussing threats he has received. His husband is a member of Brazil's congress.
The right wing and it its religious stooges are so in love with power that they have betrayed God and the truth to achieve more power in spite of having more money than most of the world's population combined. Where are the excommunications? In addition to the climate crisis, the corruption of the world's right wing is an existential threat to humanity.
