A few things to remember about the assassination of Darya Dugina in Moscow:

Aleksandr Dugin is a russian nationalist and philosopher who basically invented the philosophy that Putin is following right now: "The modern-day country of the Russian Federation is entitled to swallow all countries that used to be inhabited/controlled by russian people in the past."

This mindset is the reason why Putin attacked Ukraine.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/darya-dugina-daughter-of-putin-propagandist-alexander-dugin-killed-in-car-bomb-reports-say
Aleksandr Dugin attended a nationalist conference in Moscow with his daughter Darya. They were supposed to drive back in the same car but somehow switched plans and Aleksandr Dugin joined other people to drive home. The original car, with Darya Dugina, exploded due to a car-bomb.

Now I don't know anything about Aleksandr Dugin, but he seems to me like a stubborn old man who cares more about the purity of his nationalist political ideals than about the real geopolitical needs and strategies of the Putin-government.
(What would have happened if there had ever been a disagreement between the extremist Dugin and the politician Putin because Putin needs more political flexibility?
How could the Putin-government possibly denounce/criticize the man on whose nationalist philosophy the russian government started the Ukraine-war?)

Three things to remember:

1. The FSB faked an assassination-attempt on russian media-personality and pro-war propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.
https://tass.com/society/1442735
https://www.thedailybeast.com/russian-fsb-spies-hilariously-screw-up-vladimir-putins-assassination-plot-claim
The FSB supposedly busted a group of six ukrainian spies in a Moscow flat, who had planned to kill Solovyov via car-bomb. According to the FSB's initial reports, which were later redacted, these ukrainians spies had drugs, swastika-T-shirts, a photo of Adolph Hitler and 3 SIMS-video-games in their room.
It has been speculated that an FSB-agent was supposed to plant 3 Sim-Cards as evidence, but fucked up the assignment.

2. The russian government went to the trouble of trying to assassinate a humble anti-corruption activist, Alexei Navalny, and they went to the trouble of covering up the murder of Sergej Magnitsky who had accidently stumbled upon a cabal of corrupt russian judges and government-agents.

3. A dead Aleksandr Dugin is more valuable to Russia than to Ukraine.
To Ukraine, Dugin is just one dozens of russian propagandists. Killing him would change nothing.
To Russia, he is a martyr.

not a military target, not a strategic supply target, not Ukraine land.

what conference was this? Police asleep at the conference?

who took the photo

was the photographer already pointing the camera at the car. ???????????????

The photo that i saw looks like enough explosive for a formal cremation.

Edit:

MOREOVER,

a “mistake” in the target is likely to increase sympathy

especially if the victim is a daughter.

The father is likely to toe the line if he had been astray. (if i were the father , i might be “upset.”)

A car bomb is not something Ukraine has used for targets on the other side of the front lines. Ukraine uses snipers or missilery.

(deleted a paragraph)

new paragraph:

Darya Dugina, was herself a prominent journalist

Moreover yet again:

what time was the attack

where was the father exactly

"Ukraine definitely has nothing to do with this because we are not a criminal state, which the Russian Federation is, and even more so, we are not a terrorist state," Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said in a Ukrainian TV interview.

Pure speculation, but there are a lot of devastated families of Russian soldiers who are no doubt aware of the source of the ideology driving the invasion.
We can only hope for a change in ideology!!!

to world peace. He brought his daughter's death on himself. He owns it. There is a report here about Russian dissidents who did this...this reference posted shows just how close this is to Putin's inner circle
