Tali Yehoshua-Koren, the wife of an Israeli diplomat was moderately wounded on Monday when a car bomb exploded outside of Israel's embassy in New Delhi, was dismissed from the hospital after undergoing surgery.
Her family members in Israel have spoken to her husband who said she is recovering, and most of the shrapnel has been removed from her body. In the next 48 hours, a medical team will decide her condition and whether or not she will be able to return to Israel.
We have not spoken to her yet, but we understand that her condition is good and positive. She not in any life-threatening danger, and we are waiting to speak to her, said her brother, Ido Koren. Two Israeli doctors are assisting in treating her.
snip* The incident came one day after the fourth anniversary marking the assassination of Hezbollah's deputy leader, Imad Mughniyeh, which the Islamist organization blames on Israel.
