Two Palestinians killed in Syria

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Two young Palestinian men have been killed in the ongoing clashes in Syria, says Syria-based Palestinian group.

The Workforce for Palestinians in Syria reported in a statement, received by Ma'an Tuesday morning, that Ahmad Khalil Zeidan from the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus was killed Monday as several shells landed in the camp near Palestine Mosque.

Fierce clashes broke out at the same time between Syrian regime forces and militants of the Free Army in the vicinity of Palestine Street.

Separately, Mahir Ahmad Nassar, also from Yarmouk camp, is reported to have died of torture in Syrian jails.
