Related: About this forumVIDEO: Israeli forces shoot Palestinian protester from close range
http://972mag.com/video-israeli-forces-shoot-palestinian-protester-from-close-range/84516/According to Manals husband Bilal Tamimi, who shot the video, and a report from the Palestine News Network, the border policeman was no more than a few meters from Manal when he shot her in her knee region, reportedly causing a fracture to her bone from the impact. Tamimi told +972 they also tried to break his camera.
In the video below you can see the unarmed Manal walking up to the armed Israeli forces when one of them shoots her from what appears to be a frighteningly close distance. It is unclear what threat she was posing that would warrant the use of firearms.
---
Earlier this month, the IDF closed an investigation into the killing of Mustafa Tamimi, who was shot in the face with a tear gas canister from only a few meters in 2011. In its decision to close the investigation into that deadly shooting, the army claimed that no regulations were breached during the incident and accepted the soldiers testimony that he didnt see the victim when shooting from the military jeep.

Hey all US DUers. We taxpayers foot the bill for these IDF bastards. 40 billion over the next 10 years to continue apartheid. How does that feel knowing where you tax dollars are going?
Shooting Palestinians, Killing Palestinians, looking the other way as illegal settlers destroy Palestinian crops, lands and futures.
This is what the US funds.
Enjoy your share in it.

(58,724 posts)1. US troops 'kill 13 Iraqi protesters' (2003)
US troops opened fire on a group of Iraqi demonstrators near Baghdad yesterday, killing at least 13 people and wounding 75 others, according to reports from the area.

If the IDF are "bastards" what does that make the US army?
How many hundreds of billions of tax dollars fund our own military adventures?
That being said, it would be interesting if armies all around the world had cameras pointed at them.
Can you imagine the things we might have seen in Iraq and Afghanistan?

to invade a country that we were not at war with.
As I recall most DUers, with the exception of some Right Wing intruders, were against the invasion of Iraq.
Sums up my argument nicely about de-funding Israeli adventurism.

Cameras they would wear themselves...that would be something to see.
More photo journalists, that would be good too.
