DAVIE — The Jewish Federation of Broward County is hosting a rally for Israel with guest speakers July 21.

"In our Broward Jewish community, tensions are running high with strong emotions," an official wrote in a mass email about the events in Israel. The event will "help us all get through this together."

The federation is also raising donations to provide trauma counseling, financial assistance and portable bomb shelters.
